Award Of Merit
 

This award has been given out over the years to honour those individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to funeral service in Canada throughout a distinguished career in funeral service.

FSAC National Scholarship

This scholarship is available to any registered student attending any recognized Canadian Funeral Service Education program on a full-time basis and in good academic standing.

National Association Volunteer Award

 

This award honours volunteers, either individuals or groups, who have gone above and beyond in supporting the work of the Association. The individual or group must show: 

  1. Outstanding dedication where the individual or group’s long-term dedication, and exemplary commitment and reliability has made the Funeral Service Association of Canada a stronger organization. 
  2. Outstanding achievement where the individual or group’s work and accomplishments have made an impact in greatly advancing the Association towards its mission and paved a path to a better future for the organization and its members.

Community Volunteer Award

This award honours funeral service professionals, an individual or a group, who have

volunteered in their community. The individual or group must show:

  1. Outstanding dedication where the individual or group’s long-term dedication, and exemplary commitment and reliability has made a difference in their community.
  2. Outstanding achievement where the individual or group’s work and accomplishments have made an impact in their community.
