What an incredible Summit & Exhibitor Showcase! We were thrilled to gather in Winnipeg, MB where we welcomed over 270 attendees, including 39 exhibiting suppliers from across the country. It was  a truly memorable event packed with engaging activities, insightful presentations, and valuable networking opportunities. 

Event Highlights:

• Brookside Cemetery Tour: Thank you to WCCA for organizing a tour of this National Historic Site. 
• Dynamic Presenters: We were privileged to host a lineup of dynamic presenters who shared their expertise on a range of topics critical to our profession. Their presentations were both inspiring and thought-provoking. Some presentations are now available on the FSAC Academy. 
• Live the Laughter Hypnosis Show: Both during his keynote and during our banquet entertainment, Wayne Lee absolutely wowed the crowd with a live hypnosis demonstration, captivating our audience and leaving us with memories to last a lifetime!
• Special Guest Honourary Patron Michaëlle Jean: We were honored to welcome Madame Jean as a special guest. Her presence and contributions added a distinguished touch to our event.
• Sold Out Tradeshow: Our tradeshow was a resounding success as attendees had the opportunity to explore the latest products and services from thirty nine leading industry vendors.
• FSAC National Scholarship & Lorne Palmer Educational Bursary Recipients: congratulations to Kira Nolan, on being selected as FSAC's National Scholarship Recipient. Also, four recipients of the Lorne Palmer Educational Bursary were paired with a coach for opportunities of learning, collaborating and networking with others in the profession.

Partnerships and Collaboration:

This summit underscored the power of partnership and collaboration. We proudly partnered with the Manitoba Funeral Service Association (MFSA), the Western Canada Cemetery Association (WCCA), and the Canadian Funeral Trade Association (CFTA). We welcomed the President of NFDA, Dutch Nie and wife Donna, as well as Barbara Kemmis, the Executive Director of CANA. Provincial Association Presidents or a Board representative from almost every province were present as well as some of the Regulators from across the country.  We truly are Better Together as we unify in our mission to advance the profession. 

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this summit a phenomenal success. We look forward to continuing our journey together and building on the momentum from this unforgettable event.
